In 2000, Philadelphia hosted the Republican National Convention. One of the reporters wrote a package concerning the events around the convention. Since this was such an important time for the city, I highlighted the event by featuring the city's skyline, which had been decorated for the convention. The hope was that this cover would really pop on the newsstands.
